Established in 2013, The Bobcat Football Magazine — Review and Preview is an annual publication featuring exceptional action and still photography by Felix A. Marquez, in-depth articles by sports writer Paul Burns and author Cynthia Logan, as well as editorial by guest writers who are experts in fields such as nutrition and neuroscience.
Each collectors’ edition features a stunning pullout cover and is packed with profiles of players on the Montana State University Bobcat Football Team, interviews with coaches, the Athletic Director (this year, even the University President), and previews of opposing teams’ strengths and weaknesses. A full schedule is included in each issue, so readers can plan both home and away game attendance.
Designed to appeal to the community-at-large as well as to die-hard ‘Cat fans, the magazine spotlights the latest trends and topics in the football world, such as the ongoing concussion debate and the latest information on ‘fueling athletes.’ Past articles showcase what it takes to be a member of the Spirit Squad, the fascinating history of Bobcat Stadium, and the impressive expertise of the MSU Spirit of the West Marching Band. Fun pieces focus on Bobcat Mascot Champ, The Art of Tailgating and surprising background about the Brawl of the Wild.

Owner and Publisher / Felix A. Marquez
has over 25 years of experience routinely shooting sports events including The Superbowl, The Olympics, the PGA Golf Tournament and the BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament. Over the years, he has also focused his lens on such prominent figures as Mother Teresa, U.S. Presidents and Senators, and music greats Andrea Bocelli, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones, among others. His images of golf and tennis legends have sold worldwide and have appeared in S.I. as well as in National Geographic magazine.
Editor in Chief / Cynthia Logan
has been a freelance writer and editor for nearly three decades. Her feature articles have appeared in Cowboys and Indians, The Montecito Journal, Home, Big Sky Journal, Distinctly Montana, Outside Bozeman and Atlantis Rising, among other publications. She was Managing Editor of The BoZone for eight years prior to co-founding BFM.

Ricardo Aquino
has been a freelancer and jack of all digital trades for the last five years; photography, videography, graphic and web design are some of the skills he brings to the field. His aid has been paramount in the creation and launch of the BFM website.
Paul Burns
has been a Bozeman resident for over 35 years. Formerly an award-winning writer and columnist for the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, he currently works as a freelancer, covering events and topics in southwest Montana for out-of-town publications. He has contributed numerous articles to each edition of The Bobcat Football Magazine.
